Educational Bridge Authors
 Pamela Rudloff Robberson earned her bachelor degree in elementary education from the University of Houston in 1977, where she specialized in reading and early childhood education. She received training and taught Reading Recovery for twelve years. She taught for twenty-four years in public and private schools where she was an Elementary Literacy and Dyslexia Specialist. She developed curriculum and provided staff development for classroom teachers and summer school staff. Mrs. Robberson provided private tutoring for fifteen years for elementary students in grades K–5 using the explicit instruction to quickly remediate students to be successful in the classroom. She founded Educational Associates, which is now known as Educational Bridge, and is currently working as a consultant and representative for the company. She develops materials and provides training for classroom teachers and administrators.
 Mario Campanaro began his career in education as a teacher in an inner city high school in Chicago, Illinois. He later taught reading and social studies to learning disabled high school students before leaving teaching to pursue his passion for the research and publishing of reading materials. He is the founder of Celebration Press and the Argus Education Division. He has held positions in senior management with DLM and The Wright Group. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign, Illinois, his master’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago, and his doctorate from Texas A & M University-Commerce. Mario is an author, consultant to school districts, and a frequent speaker at professional conferences such as the International Reading Association, National Reading Conference, and the Association for Literacy Researchers and Educators.
 Geraldine Haggard, D. Ed. earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas State College for Women. Her Doctor of Education in Reading was earned at Texas Woman’s University. She did an extra year of study at the Ohio State University in Columbus.
She taught for eleven years in small rural schools located in Denton County, Texas. She worked thirty-seven years with Plano Independent School District. During these years she taught 4th grade and Title I Reading. She directed summer programs for Title I and Head Start. As Reading Supervisor, she helped develop the gifted program, the dyslexic program, and was Teacher Leader for Reading Recovery. Her university experiences include adjunct teaching at Texas Woman’s University, the University of Ohio, East Texas State University, and the University of Texas in Richardson. She has served as an officer for several state and national reading organizations.
After retirement from public school, she served two years as a visiting Professor of Reading at Texas Woman’s University. She serves as a facilitator for Journey of Hope, a grief support program for families. Her work includes writing the children’s curriculum using children’s literature for discussion and activities such as art, music, writing, and crafts. She also serves as chairman of a Retired Teacher’s group that provides gifts of four books each year to over a thousand Title I students in the Plano Schools.
Currently she remains active in state and school curriculum through tutoring in the schools, this makes it possible for her to remain current in reading research and techniques. She uses her expertise as she serves as a consultant for school districts, and evaluates, edits and writes materials for publishers.
 Patti Martinez is a former elementary and secondary educator who specialized in working with struggling readers and English language learners. From the classroom, Patti moved to the university level with Texas A&M University, Commerce as a Language Learner Specialist. There she spent time in the field helping teachers learn best practices to help accelerate struggling students. Now Patti works as an author and trainer for Educational Bridge, LLC. She uses her experiences working with diverse groups of learners to craft resources that empower teachers to bridge learning gaps and help students accelerate in language, reading, and thinking. She has currently authored The Bridge to Reading Chapter Book Series: “The Adventures of Wendel Jones”; 101 Ways to Develop Background Knowledge, and Developing Thinkers for Mathematics and Science.
 Carolyn Dunk has been an elementary school teacher for the past fifteen years. She lives in Georgetown, Texas, with her family. Carolyn is a gifted writer who loves to entertain through her stories. She has always written for her students, family, and friends, and she often bases her tales on their real life experiences.
 Clint Hardage is an Environmental Laboratory Technician in a major chemical company. He loves working with Rebecca in creating intriguing plots and characters. Together they write stories and test preparation materials for their company Educational Design Consultants.
Rebecca Hardage is a teacher for an elementary school in Tatum, Texas. She is a reading specialist who loves helping students learn how to become successful readers. Her biggest passion is creating suspenseful, interesting, and fun stories that capture the imagination of students of all ages.
 Judy Morehead is a former elementary teacher with 20 years of experience in the field of literacy. She has worked with a variety of learners including gifted and special needs students in both public and private schools. Her expertise in the teaching of reading and writing has been shaped by the likes of Lucy Calkins, Carl Anderson, Kathleen Tolan, and Isoke Nia. For six years, she hosted teachers, administrators, and coaches across the country by serving as a classroom labsite teacher at PS6 Elementary in New York City. She learned alongside visionary staff developers by participating in Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, and Columbia University Leadership Groups. She is currently teaching reading and writing as a Private Tutor in Dallas and consults and writes for Educational Bridge.
